Allisa Sarah "Ally" Tyler-Walsh is fictional character on numerous shows and movies. Her most common appearance was seen on 90210 and Gossip Girl. As a child, she was potrayed by Debby Ryan on Sabrina, The Teenage Witch and Beverly Hills 90210, but was later aged to her teenage years when potrayed by Ashley Tisdale in Instant Star. Tisdale was fired and left for High School Musical. The role was alter brought back on InuYasha and was then on What I Like About You, this time, potrayed by Laura VanDerVoort. She briefly appeared as Bella Swan's friend in Twilight 1 and returned in Eclipse to date Jake Black. She is currently featured in the new 90210 as Ally Tyler. Natalie Portman briefly potrayed her when she returned on Instant Star to comfort a heart-broken Tommy. She returned in the 3rd season of Gossip Girl, only to be raped by Chuck Bass.
Her Life
Sabrina the Teenage Witch (1997)
Ally was born on-screen in 1997 during Sabrina Spellman's freshman prom on April 14, 1997. Unlike Sabrina, she would be destined never to have magical powers. Sabrina nursed her when she was diagnosed with SIDS. Ally later lived with her sister Amanda Spellman and her mother, Marigold. Amanda later stated in the series that her mother and Ally moved away to Beverly Hills to begin a magic-free life. Marigold had an affair with Jack Tyler, who is the child's father.
Beverly Hills, 90210 (1998 - 2000)
A young Ally is seen playing with Erin Silver constantly. Amanda's mother leaves Ally in the care of Kelly Taylor, who takes great care of her. Although she was once kidnapped, she was later found by Troy Walsh (Brandon and Brenda's uncle) and he adopted her considering that Marigold could not take care of her daughter without magic. Ally later lived with Dylan's mother, Iris McKay and left town only to be brought back later in Instant Star.
Instant Star
A SORAS'd 18 year-old Ally arrives in town and seduces Tommy Quincy and does her best to keep him from Jude Harrison. In the end, Ally finds out about Tommy and Jude's kiss o her birthday and breaks up with him and leaves town only to vow her return will be devastating to Tommy. Ally then secretly goes out with a {younger) Jamie Andrews and leaves with him at the end of the season. Jamie later broke up with Ally to be with Jude at the beginign of the next season.
What I Like About You (2006)
Ally appeared in WILAY's final season and went out with Vince. Jack Tyler sees her and realizes she is the product of the affair. Val and Holly realize that they have a half-sister and welcome her with open arms. Val realizes that Ally must be missing a father figure in her life and forces Jack to take care of her after Val's wedding. Holly and Vince get back together but Holly finds out about Ally and Vince's love life and runs away from Vince. Ally finds out that she is pregnant and does not tell Vince. Gary discovers the pregnancy test and mistakenly tells Vince that Holly is pregnant. Ally gets wind of this and leaves New York to go live with Jack and his husband Tushi in Japan.
2008-09 Instant Star Return
After 4 years, Ally returns to comfort a heartbroken Tom Quincy. Ally realizes that Jude broke off their engagement and moved away to London. She was overjoyed and she and Tom begin a new relationship. Ally decides to tell Tom that she is pregnant - but with his child. Tommy, deciding it is the best thing for "his" child, decides to marry Ally. She accepts and they get married 2 days after the engagement in Paris. Ally decides that she wants to move to Manhattan and to get a job there as a teacher. She confides in Jamie that Tom is not the father of her child but she did this so that they could connect and find what they had before she left.
