Landkreis Teschen was a German[1] administrative entity (Landkreis) in Silesia that existed from 1939 to 1945. It was until 1941 part of Regierungsbezirk Kattowitz in the Province of Silesia.[2] The administrative centre was Teschen. After the former Prussian Province of Silesia was dissolved in 1941, Regierungsbezirk Kattowitz and Regierungsbezirk Oppeln became the Province of Upper Silesia.
