Tranformers: Armada/Energeon/Cybertron
Hot Rod is the Japanese name for the Autobot, Hot Shot in the Japanese version of Transformers: Armada. Both characters share similarities in alternate modes, personality and eventual new leader of the Autobots until Optimus returned.
