I removed the following, which was essentially an ad for the linked company:

Shajhan: I added more detail to point 1 of the definition. I have also defined EDM as the movement of data from sets of systems A to a secondary system B or set of systems (B). This is because data management should not be constrained to the movement of data from source systems to a data warehouse. There are a number of reasons but the clearest is because it would exclude data quality management from the EDM umbrella. The movement of data catches all since it allows data flows using ETL tools where no data warehouse is involved.
