Welcome!

Some cookies to welcome you!

Welcome to Wikipedia, Joshua Darkins! I am Brewcrewer and have been editing Wikipedia for quite some time. I just wanted to say hi and welcome you to Wikipedia! If you have any questions, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page or by typing {{helpme}} at the bottom of this page. I love to help new users, so don't be afraid to leave a message! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Oh yeah, I almost forgot, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); that should automatically produce your username and the date after your post. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there. Again, welcome!

Japanese year redirects

Hi there Joshua Darkins, and let me join brewcrewer in welcoming you to Wikipedia. In particular, a belated thank you for removing the incorrect speedy deletion template on Taisho 3. I notice that you changed it from redirecting to the Gregorian year to redirecting to the Japanese calendar period. Since people seem to disagree on which way these should be handled, I've started a discussion at Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Japan#Japanese_era.2Fyear_redirects to try to figure out what the right answer is. Feel free to contribute if it interests you; we value new users' opinions just as much as old-timers' opinions. Of course, if you don't wish to contribute to that discussion, you don't have to do so. Thanks for reading this, and I hope you enjoy contributing to Wikipedia. Gavia immer (talk) 02:39, 2 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I was blocked, with the reason given "Abusing multiple accounts: JJGD." - But, I am NOT JJGD, and I see no reason whatsoever for someone to suspect me of being JJGD. After briefly looking through his edits; I don't even see any articles that we have both edited, and I have no idea why I am being banned as a sockpuppet; could the blocking admin please provide me with a link to an edit which suggests I have somehow benefited from sockpuppetry.

Decline reason:

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

{{helpme}}

Can someone remove the information from the userpage? Just leave the {{noindex}} and the sockpuppet template, the rest is useless and I don't want it next to my name. Or at least change the username of the account.

Done. - Jarry1250 (t, c) 18:01, 17 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
