Should Lord Mayors be included? In Britain it's apparently a ceremonial title, but in Australia it's apparently a political title. Is it a similar title? I wondered on seeing Sallyanne Atkinson, Lisa Scaffidi, and Lucy Turnbull while searching for non-US names to add.--T. Anthony ([[User talk:T. In your list you forgot my grandmother, Maggie Skipwith Smith, Wilson, La. She was the first woman Mayor of Louisiana in 1937. Thank you, Mary Morris

I found a source and we're a bit weak on early women mayors so I'll add it.--T. Anthony (talk) 22:02, 12 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Anthony (talk) 21:59, 12 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
