Peter Orszag could not have been "appointed" on 15th December 2008 both because President Obama was not president than, and wasn't yet confirmed by the senate. He technically couldn't have even been nominated at that date, as nomination is an official term which would require presidential action. The line should read that the President-elected announced he would nominate Peter Orszag on 15th December 2008, or that he was selected on that date for nomination.


Does anyone have a citation for the "over 600 employees" reference? I believe "approximately 500" would be more accurate. I'll search for a reference on that. - [[User:Walkiped|Walkiped]] 17:45, 26 Sep 2004 (UTC)
