Paul Cadotte attended primary school at the Jardin de l'Enfance, and took science courses at Mont Saint-Louis. Paul Cadotte attended l'École Polytechnic for two years before finishing his studies at l'École Technique, where he distinguished himself particularly by completing in only one year, a complete course on mechanical industry where three-quarters of it was published in the school's journal (les annales de l'École), and winning the gold medal in the provincial government bestowed upon the most deserving student. Paul Caodtte graduated with high distinction in 1919. |

Absorbé par un travail soutenu qu'il consacre exclusivement à l'éducation de ses nombreux élèves, il ne peut se mêler de la chose publique, bien qu'il s'y intéresse à plus d'un point de vue. Beau type d'homme à la carrure athlétique, Paul Cadotte est un adepte de tous les sports, extérieurs comme intérieurs, qu'il cultive du reste avec grand succès. La culture physique, le tennis, la natation et le billard, sont cependant les sports dans lesquels il excelle, et qui lui ont valu en maintes circonstances les témoignages les plus flatteurs. Il est un de ceux qui ont contribué au développement du jeu de tennis chez les Canadiens-français. Membre à vie de l'Association Athlétique Le National il fut jadis le directeur des événements sociaux, il s'y intéresse encore et contribue dans une très large mesure à faire de notre institution nationale l'une des plus importantes du Dominion. |
