Community
At the heart of Celtic Radio is a listener community of over 15,000 members which helps to support the many independent artists and musicians by attending their concerts and listening to their music. Encouragement is given to the members of Celtic Radio to support and continue this music genre. Members of Celtic Radio can communicate with other members of Celtic Radio through a member profile and through a private message system. Members help in ranking, rating and requesting music through Celtic Radio which directly effects the song rotation and weighting of the broadcast through a live-time radio database. This results is a community driven broadcast of music that members have created and influenced through their music selections.
Internet Radio
Celtic Radio was the first independent internet radio station to support, cultivate and mainstream Celtic Music throughout the United States. Through a unique member driven community website and by harnessing the latest technologies for Internet Radio, Celtic Radio is driving to make Celtic Music a mainstream music genre in the United States of America.
