From 1988 to 1991, Patrik Jaros was sous-chef at Eckart Witzigmann's "Aubergine" restaurant in Munich. In 1992 he was appointed head chef at the "Patrizierhof'"gourmet restaurant near Munich. In 1993 he returned to the "Aubergine" (1 star in the Michelin Guide) as head chef, where he worked until 1995. In 1994 Patrik Jaros was named the youngest Michelin star chef in Germany by theMichelin Guide.
