This process was created to allow unregistered users to add new files to Wikipedia with the assistance of experienced Wikipedians. - I am guessing that is Mindanao State University - Naawan. I have not yet been able to check that the logo is genuine however. since the web site http://www.msunaawan.edu.ph/ seems to be unavailable. if you can prove that the logo is CC-by-3.0 licenced we can use it, but otherwise it has to conform to fair use provisions, one of which is that it really is the logo of the organisation. Article To Be Used On/Reason For Upload: To replace the existing "Media:Apple Computer Logo.svg" in its use in the articles on Apple Inc., History of Apple and Rob Janoff. The existing image contains a rendering error which does not accurately convey its original design (the yellow color section on the right hand side of the logo was cut off). Also, the version I am submitting is a resolution-limited non-vector image, thereby limiting the possibility of copyright-infringing use. I am the owner of the above Photobucket page and can provide the corrected .svg file upon request (just comment on the image's page with the appropriate email address to send it to as Photobucket does not host .svg files).

- Hello Ben, thankyou for trying to improve the encyclopedia. if you are going to donate a picture to Wikipedia there needs to be a clear proof of the license granted. The Daily Bruin article fails to tell us about the picture copyright. If you can follow the instructions in Wikipedia:Contact us/Permit, in particular emailing the picture to permissions-commons@wikimedia.org with the statement that you want to release it to public domain (public domain may not be an option if you are in Australia but you can give i a CC-0 license, all copyrights released). You can ask for it to be called file:Benjamin Genocchio.jpg. Other alternatives are to upload to flickr with a clear license indicated. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 20:07, 27 October 2009 (UTC)
