If you are offering to help with the Schools DVD I would be very glad to hear from you. There is loads to do at present and we are working through the new subject index:

The new selection of articles is about two weeks away. We are still hand checking version numbers (yawn) and still aiming for about 5500 articles to fit on a DVD. So under your logic, it's okay to engage in borderline racial profiling, taunt a fellow editor, use profanity and engage in otherwise disruptive conduct, just so long as the 3R rule isn't violated. Thanks for clearing that up. So you had an opportunity to review some of his comments that I left on your Talk page and those of an Admin who suggested that a block against Mr Anon Unsigned may be appropriate. The admin had asked me for the diffs but I simply didn't have the time to compile all of them and then you came along and blocked me. Do you plan to take any action against him or is just a one way street? Incidentally, while I was blocked, allegations were raised by other editors suggesting that Mr Anon Unsigned may be a sock puppet.--Jiujitsuguy (talk) 20:14, 28 October 2009 (UTC)

You don't need to kiss ass but the tone seems a little pointed, JG! Certain editors knee jerk and working of the system has rubbed off on me and it looks like my bad attitude has rubbed off on you, unfortunately. I'm actually considering taking a greater step back since it is not productive.

Basically BozMo, there has been a bunch of wikidrama BS. The cause and reasoning isn't important but there are arbitration requests for enforcement and all sorts of shenanigans. During one of these, it was presented that Mr Unsigned Anon (JG reversed it on accident) looks like a sock puppet. The closing admin mentioned that he might be inclined to do the sock puppet check if negative behavior continued. 9Wikipedia:Arbitration/Requests/Enforcement#1.4 Mr Unsigned Anon or diff) I would assume that this is something that should be done regardless of future behavior. Since Mr.UA has done some good I am hoping that he was trying to get a fresh start if it is a sock and not a blocked user. If this is the case I hope clearing the air (since I now realize even that is against the rules) and leaving it at that will be sufficient. My discussion with another admin (User talk:Jehochman was ongoing but he hasn't gotten back to me. Should this request be made through another channel (I assume there is a request process). I don't want beat a dead horse here but I would like to direct you to [[1]] where Mr Unsigned Anon was warned to stop reverting me! He wasn't blocked, just warned. All editors in this Gaza section were having heated exchanges that crisscrossed the discussion and Talk pages but none crossed the line of racial profiling, except for UA. I can't believe that this type of behavior doesn't even merit a mild admonition!--Jiujitsuguy (talk) 03:00, 29 October 2009 (UTC)

I do not in general watch or follow what goes on in Gaza/Wikipedia, personally I find it too depressing. This kind of article is all about expertise in reliable sources. However I do watch WP:3RR where you ended up. Do not complain to a traffic cop if you get a speeding fine when there are worse crimes out there. --BozMo talk 07:55, 29 October 2009 (UTC)

I saw your decision and accepted it. I am now asking that you apply the same standard to Mr Unsigned Anon as you have with me. He has reverted me twice here [2] and here [3] within a span of less than 24 hrs. The second revert is particularly distressing becuase I was engaged in a debate with another editor who asked me to self revert here [4] and I was considering his request as evidenced by [5] Then UA comes along and reverts me before the other editor even has a chance to respond to my proposal. UA is very savvy and sophisticated when it comes to Wiki rules and procedure. He will push the envelope just far enough without bursting it. While technically, he's not in violation of 3R in letter, he's certainly in violation of spirit. I think a sanction or at least a warning is in order.--Jiujitsuguy (talk) 08:22, 1 November 2009 (UTC)
