The following are AFC suggestions which I believe to be useful but which need a bit of fact-checking.

Herbert L. Becker first suggested by 24.203.199.202

Dr. Herbert L. Becker (Born August 12, 1956 in Hollywood, FL) is the inventor and patent/copyright holder for BOIP (broadcasting over internet protocol) and the founder of IPTV (internet protocol television broadcasting). Was once sued by David Copperfield in order to stop his book from being published, revealing how magicians do their tricks. Becker won the law suit and the book went on to become the biggest selling magic book in history (All The Secrets of Magic Revealed-published 1995). Becker has gone on to have 12 books published including such subjects as John Lennon and How to Type.

All The Secrets of Magic Revealed went on to out-sell all magic books ever written, more than 250,000 copies. Barnes & Nobles

Becker made the Statue of Liberty vanish before a live audience for SternTV in 1996.

Becker and Copperfield eventually patched things up and the two have become the closest of friends.

Becker is married and is the father of seven children.

  • Something's very fishy here. The image added to this article was uploaded by User:Johnfullerton and the image description page indicates this man's name is Tony Furey, not Herbert Becker. Given the sockpuppetry and hoaxing surrounding John Fullerton and its AfD, I'm going to have to take this one with a grain of salt. android79 14:15, 12 December 2005 (UTC)
Herbert Becker exists and is involved in Internet broadcasting - see [1]. However, apart from the fake pic, there are other problems; the statement that he founded IPTV (as opposed to some proprietary implementation of it) doesn't appear to be true. Also, whatever may be claimed on this corporate blurb, nobody can know that they're a "Nobel Prize Laurels candidate" (even if such a thing existed) since the Nobel doesn't release names of nominees for fifty years. And the claims of his performing magic? Zoe (216.234.130.130 22:57, 12 December 2005 (UTC))

Amongst others, Becker headlined at Radio City Music Hall in Dec. 1976 while with Guinness On Parade. He also headlined in Las Vegas and at the Steele Peir in NJ.

An image of Adam Herbert has now been added to this aricle. I have BEEN BOLD and deleted it. Zoe (216.234.130.130 16:09, 13 December 2005 (UTC))
