United States of Kashmir is a concept delivered by United Kashmir People's National Party(UKPNP) in early 1990s.
United States of Kashmir is a formula of converting all Kashmir states into an independent country free from Pakistan & India's control including State of Kashmir, Gilgit (Dardistan) , Baltistan (Northern Areas) Ladakh, Poonch, Kishtwar, Broshal and Jammu region

Before presenting this concept this party was called Jammu Kashmir People's National Party. But to motivate this concept and clear party's standing on this issue he changed the party name.

UKPNP's Policy for United States of Kashmir gilgit baltistan is not included in the kashmir area it has its own identity. it is clearly declare that gilgit baltistan is an idependant state, now a days the control of the area is in the hands of pakistan but in future they will get freedom from the pakistani govt.
