The source I used is The Black Book of Capitalism. There is a number of articles which have the Black Book of Communism listed as a source. What is it that makes one more valid than the other?

The majority of the sources in the article on the Great Purge come from Robert Conquest, who I believe made ridiculous estimates, lied, and got his information from fascists.
