this project is NOT close to completion. The reference given in this article points to a news article that does not quote or source its evidence for any completion date. Furthermore the official website of Hydropolis has remained offline for a long period of time and provides no information at all on this project. On top of this there is no visual evidence that any construction has taken place so far at all. The site which was recently photographed by satellite in September 2009 reveals an empty slot of sand with no construction there nor offshore. - This project has been on hold for years and it is NOT near completion at all. |

Look at empty sand slot at 25° 5'2.62"N 55° 8'19.13"E and compare this site with the image given by Hydropolis: http://www.designbuild-network.com/projects/Hydropolis/images/3-location.jpg. Not only is it empty but you can see that since 2007 an entire new high rise area has been built beside it, while Hydropolis has not been completed at all.--[[User:Lexxus2010|Lexxus2010]] ([[User talk:Lexxus2010|talk]]) 06:59, 17 November 2009 (UTC) |

From what I have read recently, the project is NOT canceled, its still underway. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 76.176.213.132 (talk) 01:54, August 23, 2007 (UTC)
The article is utterly wrong. To clarify:
this project is NOT close to completion.
- I suggest this article to be moved to rapid deletion as it has neither any credible sources nor does this topic exist.
