On April 26, 2009, Jeb raced at [[VIRginia International Raceway]] [[SCCA Pro Racing]] [[Volkswagen Jetta TDI Cup]] . Jeb was able to qualify his his State Water Heaters/[[Ward Burton Wildlife Foundation]] Jetta in the 9th position but landed 22nd after an accident with another driver.

Jeb Burton is the son of 2002 Daytona 500 winner Ward Burton and nephew of current NASCAR Sprint Cup driver Jeff Burton. Jeb is now a regular driver at South Boston Speedway, a track seeped in history and success for his family.

South Boston Career

Jeb has run two full seasons at South Boston Speedway. His best season so far occurred in 2009 with 3 poles, 0 wins, 14 top 5s, and 16 top 10s in 18 races. These performances earned him a 4th place finish in points. Jeb plans on running a similar schedule in 2010.

In the past, Jeb has been sponsored by ITT Night Vision, State Water Heaters, and Pacific Equipment. No news have come on his 2010 sponsors yet but it is probable that State Water Heaters at least will return.
