The Hürriyet ve İtilâf Fırkası was the main challenger to the Committee of Union and Progress during the 1912 elections. Notable members included Rıza Tevfik Bölükbaşı, Ali Kemal Bey, Damat Ferid Pasha and Lütfi Fikri Bey.
