According to Robert Osborne (TCM), you don't see his face until 1 hour 6 minutes into the movie. Prior to that, it's seen only in shadows or with bandages or POV shots. Worth mentioning? Trivia: This is the first movie together as Mr. & Mrs. Bogart. They weren't married when they filmed it, though romantically involved, by the time it screened in theatres, Bacall had become the 4th Mrs. Bogart (in The Big Sleep, Bacall was in love with Bogart, though he was already married; due to the delay in the movies release, by the time it _was_ screened, Bogart and Bacall were a public item).

Bogie's face

According to Robert Osborne (TCM), you don't see his face until 1 hour 6 minutes into the movie. Prior to that, it's seen only in shadows or with bandages or POV shots. Worth mentioning? Trivia: This is the first movie together as Mr. & Mrs. Bogart. They weren't married when they filmed it, though romantically involved. By the time it screened in theatres, Bacall had become the 4th Mrs. Bogart (in The Big Sleep, Bacall was in love with Bogart, though he was already married; due to the delay in the movies release, by the time it _was_ screened, Bogart and Bacall were a public item).
