Broadheath is a suburb of Altrincham in Greater Manchester, England. It is historically part of the county of Cheshire and has a Warrington postcode.
At Broadheath's height as an industrial area, the industries supported perhaps 12,000 employees. The industries include George Richards, Thornton Pickard, O'Briens, Luke & Spencer, Tilghmans, Linotype, Kearns, Record Electrical, Budenbergs and Churchills, many of which were world-famous.

Broadheath is part of Trafford Metropolitan Borough of Greater Manchester. The ward of Broadheath has three out of sixty three seats on Trafford Metropolitan Borough Council, and as of the 2008 local elections all 3 seats were held by the Conservatives.[1]

Transport
Broadheath railway station served the district between 1853 and closure in 1962. Passenger trains ran from Manchester via Sale to Broadheath and on to Lymm and Warrington.
