Deletion
this is john former member of the stains..... I was also a member of fishhead if you need verification forthe article you requested for deletion I can verify the bands names and also provide contacts for other individuals involved in the groups. Jesse Fixx unfortunately passed away. you can also look on myspace for information about east los angeles punk groups in the period of time. Also a wonderful article that was printed in razor cake magazine entitled "teenage alcholicsin east los angeles" you can also find that article much easier by typing in EAst los angeles punk in a google search.
as stated previously I can verify for the information list in the article that was posted. The guys and I would appreciated it if it can be reposted. <span style="font-size: smaller;" class="autosigned">—Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.108.140.17 (talk) 23:32, 20 June 2009 (UTC)</span><!-- Template:UnsignedIP --> <!--Autosigned by SineBot-->

*I am not sure what article you are referring to, but I am not an administrator so I am unable to delete pages, nor am I able to restore pages that have been deleted. Go to the article you created and it should open a "create this page" edit screen. On the top of this screen you should see the name of the administrator who deleted your article and the reason it was deleted. You can ask them to restore it for you, or ask any other admin and they may provide a copy of the article in your user space under the registered name you created the article. Good luck. <font color="forestgreen">The</font>&nbsp;<font color="#0000C0">Seeker&nbsp;4</font>&nbsp;<font color="#CC7722" face="Papyrus">Talk</font> 02:40, 21 June 2009 (UTC)

Why a new administrator?
I realize I unnecessarily continued the exchange, and the revert was out of line since it isn't my user page, which I acknowledged on my own page. However, I'm reluctant to post an apology on a page where the original argument has been erased. Even if it were replaced, I don't care to put it on his page knowing he's likely to delete everything except for the apology. I have never deleted anything from my userpage, as that seems like bad form. I should preserve criticism as well as praise and other records of my participation here, including rebukes from administrators.

As for this being an edit war, I respectfully request you ask Thirteensquared to stop posting on my page. He felt the need to superfluously inform me that I am the subject of an administrator discussion, etc. Also, I'm curious if you knew GTBacchus was mediating this issue just a couple of hours ago. Shouldn't further developments have been referred to his/her userpage? If this isn't the proper procedure I'd be glad to learn what is. Cheers. --Preston McConkie (talk • contribs) 20:09, 13 July 2009 (UTC)
:Oh, I get it, you aren't an administrator, you're just a busybody. Well, go ahead and delete this just like the other fellow. --Preston McConkie (talk • contribs) 20:15, 13 July 2009 (UTC)

:First, I am not an administrator, simply a user who helps out on WP:WQA. Second, I suggested an apology as a gesture of good faith, obviously no one can compel you to say "sorry" to anyone. It is considered completely acceptable to remove even warnings for vandalism from your own talk page. It is very bad form, and indeed disruptive to replace content that someone removes from their own talk page. While you may choose to preserve all communications on your talk page, as indeed many users do, there is no requirement that anyone do so.

:I would have you note that thirteensquared has stopped posting on your talk page as soon as you requested that he do so (unless he posted something in the time I read your message and typed this one). I would also have you note that it is considered very bad form to not notify you about a thread he started that concerns you, so you have no justification to complain about his doing so. If you would check GTBacchus's talk page, I did in fact notify him about your less than stellar behavior which followed his conversation with you. Also, it was thirteensquared, not I, that raised this issue on WP:ANI and I am not an administrator, so I am not sure why you are complaining to me about involving other admins. Your posting on his page was childish, reverting his removal of the content after he told you to leave his talk page alone crossed the line of harassment, and the comment you made before posting the thread on your own talk page was completely unnecessary and needlessly inflammatory. <font color="forestgreen">The</font>&nbsp;<font color="#0000C0">Seeker&nbsp;4</font>&nbsp;<font color="#CC7722" face="Papyrus">Talk</font> 20:28, 13 July 2009 (UTC)
::My opinion of your involvement remains unchanged. Since an administrator was already involved, you had no business jumping in. You know I already admitted my error in reverting his redfaced erasure, and the administrator at least has the fairness to point out that thirteensquared is being childish for complaining of what I put on my own userpage. You've taken sides in this and it shows. --Preston McConkie (talk • contribs) 20:48, 13 July 2009 (UTC)

:Not a problem. Best thing to do if things get heated here is to walk away for a bit; Wikipedia isn't so important that you need to get all worked up. Hopefully this will be the end of it. <font color="forestgreen">The</font>&nbsp;<font color="#0000C0">Seeker&nbsp;4</font>&nbsp;<font color="#CC7722" face="Papyrus">Talk</font> 20:35, 13 July 2009 (UTC)

::I'm so sorry you got dragged into this. I've gotten into disagreements and skirmishes before, but nothing like this. It took me totally off-guard. I'm thankful you (even if you aren't an admin!) and GTB have helped as much as you have. Thanks again. :) --132 21:00, 13 July 2009 (UTC)

:::Not a problem. Again, simply let it go and don't even read what he posts on his talk page and you will be fine. Being berated for "jumping in" or being a "busybody" is not something that I get worked up over, so the whole thing is no big deal. I simply hope he took the hint and will avoid such behavior in the future even if he refuses to admit any fault (other than reverting your talk page) in this situation. <font color="forestgreen">The</font>&nbsp;<font color="#0000C0">Seeker&nbsp;4</font>&nbsp;<font color="#CC7722" face="Papyrus">Talk</font> 12:39, 14 July 2009 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of Salt therapy
A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Salt therapy, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process&#32; because of the following concern:
:<b>Possible neologisms, no reliable sources, fails to meet notability</b>

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the <code>dated prod</code> notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached.<!-- Template:PRODWarning --> LexCorp (talk) 23:44, 15 July 2009 (UTC)

Hi
Hey, sorry to bother you with this, but you dealt with an etiquette case against me once and you came across civil so I would appreciate your advice. A number of users who feel threatened by my presence on here have subsequently opened numerous cases against me. Two sock puppet cases were filed and I was "acquitted" on both occasions. The same users have opened two other cases against me in order to get me blocked from all Kosovo related articles, repeating the same old flimsy "evidence" and the same old arguments; here. Some advice would be much appreciated. I've thought about opening my own case against the users but this just seems like such a waste of my time.

Much appreciated if you could find the time to respond, Interestedinfairness (talk) 02:18, 16 July 2009 (UTC)

:: Doh, edit collision! It's too true, though... many (maybe even most) editors wouldn't have taken the time to fix that themselves. Considering how many eyeballs see that article, I shudder to think about the number of people who have read it. Oh, I nearly forgot, two things:
::# <s>My condolences</s> Congratulations on your engagement! Me and mine just celebrated our 6th anniversary yesterday.

Hi. We don't know each other, but i have a favor to ask of you. I would really appreciate it if you grant it. I've been having a problem with this User:Untilwhen1. He keeps vandalizing the Tippu Sultan article by deleting information that he doesn't like, in spite of it being well referenced and credibly sourced. I've reverted his vandalism, but he keeps sending me messages telling me to shorten the "Religious Attitudes towards Christians" section, under false reasons. The section details Tippu Sultan's persecution of the Mangalorean Catholics (which i am) and other Christian groups. I've requested him to discuss any issues with the content in the article's talk page. However, he might not do that and instead vandalize the article again. Since i have retired from editing wikipedia as of today, i will unable to keep track of his edits and prevent him from vandalizing the Tippu Sultan and any Christian articles in general. As such, i request you to do so. Thanks. Greetings, Seeker. Thank you for your comment at WP:ANI#User:Ani_medjool, which I think is right on the mark. Can you tell me whether the discussion at ANI will automatically be seen by someone enforcing WP:ARBPIA, or is some action necessary to call it to their attention? (The latter page and case seem to be closed.) If you know, please advise. Hertz1888 (talk) 02:57, 11 November 2009 (UTC)

:Hello. Any uninvolved administrator can invoke editing restrictions based on a violation of the arbitration decision. The fact that no admin has yet acted indicates to me that you are unlikely to see action taken on this issue at this point. Unfortunately I am not myself an admin so I can't do anything more than I already have. I would simply move away for now, and if Ani Medjool continues his disruptive edits I would bring the issue to WP:AN and propose a topic ban on Israel/Palestine topics. Simply reference the ANI thread, making sure you link to the archived page if it has been archived by that time and list with diffs any new disruptive edits made after this point. I would not bring this to WP:AN until new disruptive edits are made by this editor, or you will be accused of forum shopping. PMLawrence

The following is belt and braces...

I appreciate your rationale for reversion. However:-

- That was not a case of choosing a British over a US spelling, but of going back to the original derivation from Latin ("arte factus", made by art).

- You also removed other, separate corrections, e.g. inserting missing definite articles ("From 6th or 5th century BC, Chu (state) circulated Ying Yuan, one kind of square gold coin" is missing three of them).

In the light of this, please either reinstate my version or make some suitable edits of your own, but do <I>not</I> simply revert to a defective version. PMLawrence (talk) 14:01, 4 December 2009 (UTC)
