Daisy Coburn

Daisy Dares You is the stage name used by Daisy Coburn (born 1993[1]), a British pop artist from Essex[2], United Kingdom. The stage name is a direct reference to the character of the same name from the 1990's British television show "ZZZap!".[citation needed]

Although she is yet to release an album or single, she is already garnering much media attention, and she has been profiled by The Times[3], the BBC[4] and The Guardian[2] as a young artist to watch for in 2010.

She is managed by Empire[2], and signed to Jive, a subsidiary of Sony Records[5]. She mainly uses social networking websites to broadcast her music, such as MySpace[6] where she posts mostly demos, and her YouTube channel[7] where the video for her song 'Daisy Dares You' can be found.

Her debut single will be available to download from 21 February 2010 and is called 'Number One Enemy', featuring UK rap artist Chipmunk. The video for this song attracted around 160,000 views in the first week[7] and was 4Music's VIP track for the week commencing 10 January 2010[8].

Her second single has already been confirmed to be a song titled 'Rosie', and will be released 17 May 2010.[9]
