Vasil Bollano (Albanian: Vasil Bollano [Βασίλης Μπολάνος, Vasilis Bolanos] Error: {{Lang-xx}}: text has italic markup (help)) [1] is an Albanian national that recently claimed Greek ethnicity, and is currently serving as the mayor of Himara municipality, southwest Albania[2].

Additionally, Vasil Bollano is the president of Omonoia, which represents the rights of Albania's Greek minority, as well as member of the Unity for Human Rights Party.

On 21 April 2009 he was sentenced to 6 months in prison and a fine of 3800 euros for removing road signs in the municipality.[3] The decision is currently under appeal.

In December 2009 after investigation of Vlora department of prosecutions he was indicted on charges of abuse of power and falsification of official documents after issuing illegal building permits along the Albanian southern coast.[4]
