"Mikey Miss" is a long time Donovan McNabb hater. He will take any opportunity he can to put down the franchises best all-time QB.

This sports radio talk show host has made a living on bashing Philadelphia sports. He is very similar to friend, Stephen A. Smith, who writes for the sports section of the Philadelphia Inquirer, yet is a long time New York sports fan.

Mike Missanelli is a sports talk radio host of 950 ESPN since April, 2008.

Missanelli started out of Bristol, Pennsylvania as a newspaper writer, working at the Philadelphia Inquirer and eventually moved over to radio working on-air at 610 WIP and 93.3 WMMR. In January 2010, he signed a new multi-year deal at ESPN affiliate, 97.5 The Fanatic. He left 610 WIP for the first time in January 2003 to begin a show with Joe Conklin on WMMR.

School

Missanelli attended Penn State University where he was a second baseman on the varsity baseball squad. He also obtained a law degree from Widener University at the same time he was working for the Philadelphia Inquirer

Career

In an interview with Philadelphia Eagles kicker David Akers, Missanelli called the Eagles kicker a "girl" and criticized him for not being "a real athlete"[1].

Skip Bayless of ESPN once appeared not to know Missanelli's name a minute after being given it before joining the on-air program. Missanelli reportedly replied "just Google me when we're off the phone"[2]. The phrase "Google me!" is peppered into Missanelli's 2:00-6:00 PM daily talk show from time to time as a comic element.

Missanelli reportedly said that Philadelphia fans have been unfairly criticized for being violent and hostile[3]. Philadelphia fans once booed and threw snowballs at Santa Claus at a 1968 Philadelphia Eagles game[4].

Missanelli has dominated 610 WIP Host, Howard "Wolfman/Burger King" Eskin, in the evening ratings war.
