Eirikur Gilstón Corfitz Andersen

Eirikur Gilstón Corfitz Andersen (born December 16, 1984) is a faroese musician, best known for his work as the bassist and backing vocalist of the alternative rock band The Dreams. He is the founder of the band along with Hans Edward Andreasen and Heini Mortensen.

Early life with Zink

Eirikur was born in Thórshavn, Faroe Islands. Son of Birger Corfitz, known faroese businessman and Malan Gilstón. He have two brothers, Heini and Ólavur. Only he and Heini are musicians. He learned to play the bass when his brother Corfitz already knew how to play the guitar, he also knows how to play it. Eirikur worked in a nursery.

Professional career

Now, Eirikur is a professional musician, not the fact of belonging to The Dreams, but like his brother has got lots of girls fans and being one of the most often speak in interviews and making jokes. He loves play bass guitar and provide backing vocals at concerts.

Also in the concerts, he does the voice of Edmun í Garði, principal vocalist of the former band "Zink" when they go to sing a song.
