License queuing is a feature that allows a user on a network to wait for a license until it becomes available.
When a user runs an application and no licenses are available, his request is automatically placed in a queue, and the user waits for the next available license. Once a license becomes available, it is immediately sent to the user. This process is typically repeated for all queued license requests and licenses are granted on a first come, first served basis.
License queuing provides fair access and usage of applications in floating licensing, where there is a large number of users and a limited number of licenses.
