Kyle Bartley is an English professional footballer who currently plays for Arsenal. Bartley grew up in Stockport where he attended Marple Hall School from 2002 until 2007.

Career

Born in Manchester, Bartley began his career with Bolton Wanderers and signed for Arsenal on 31 July 2007. He has captained Arsenal F.C. Reserves and was part of the team that won the FA Youth Cup in 2009. Bartley made his professional debut for Arsenal on 9 December 2009, in a Champions League match against Olympiacos.[3]

Bartley signed a three month loan deal with Sheffield United in February 2010 to act as defensive cover. He thought about signing to the Blades on a permanant switch. He returned to Arsenal at the end of the campaign.[4]
