Deacon Charley Vinson was born to Joe and Hattie Vinson in Holly Grove, Arkansas.Charley accepted christ at the age of 13 and attended Bethlem Missionary Bapist Church in Holly Grove, Arkansas. After moving to Detroit, Michigan where he was ordaiined a deacon on June 12, 1983. He transferred his membership tp Puritan Street Chorch of Christ, Inc., where hw was the chairman of the deacon board and where he finished his service for the LORD. After honorably discharged from the Navy, Charley settled in Chicago, Illinois where he met and married Juanita Mitchel on July 31,1964. Charley and his family settles in Detroit, Michigan in Novenber 1971 for better job opportunities where he owned and operated several business and retired in 2003 |
