Stephen Griffiths (born 24 December 1969) is a student and suspected serial killer from Bradford, who has been charged for the murders of at least three whores in Bradford during 2009 and 2010.[1]
Griffiths was born in Dewsbury, West Yorkshire. He was arrested on 24 May 2010 and appeared in the magistrates court on the morning of 28 May 2010 giving his name as the "Crossbow Cannibal".[2][3][4] At a crown court appearance that afternoon he was remanded in custody until his next court appearance, intended to be via a video link from prison, on 7 June, 2010.[3]
Griffiths, is reported to be a Leeds University psychology graduate undertaking postgraduate research in criminology at Bradford University.[3] During his teens, Griffiths was a pupil at Queen Elizabeth Grammar School, Wakefield.[5]
