Taufiq Kiemas (born on 31 December 1942, in Jakarta) is the Speaker of Indonesia People's Consultative Assembly (Majelis Permusyawaratan Rakyat/MPR) since 2009. He is the husband of former Indonesian President Megawati Sukarnoputri. Taufiq married Megawati in 1973. it was Megawati's 3rd marriage. Together they have three children: M. Rizki Pramata, M. Pranada Prabowo and Puan Maharani.

As of 2008, Kiemas was the leader of the PDI’s Muslim religious wing, the BMI.[1][2]
