The UAW local 364 was officially decertified as of July 30, 2009 with only 70 workers having gone back inside during the strike and no workers being recalled after the union was decertified.

President John Stoner told the press that during the strike the "business was deteriorating and that somehow he had to get the business on track", he believes he as accomplished that today.

Worker wages were slashed after the union was decertified in July of 2009. This according to Stoner enable him to bring back the student line production from Asia. The lose of doing student line horns in America before the strike was $10 per instrument.

Stoner relates that during the strike quality complaints were averaging 480 per month two years after the strike, now brought down to 23 a month.

The Strike along with the recession continues to have effects on the rebound of the Vincent Bach facility.
