Shane Company or Shane Co. is the largest family owned jeweler in the United States.[1] The company is a diamond importer retail jewelry chain founded in 1971. Based in Centennial, Colorado,[2] the company sells wedding rings and other jewellery with diamonds, rubies, sapphires and pearls. The company promotes its 20 nationwide stores and website through a long-running campaign of radio commercials featuring the company's founder Tom Shane.

Shane Company filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy on January 12, 2009[3] and closed three locations in Orlando, Florida; Morrow, Georgia; and Tukwila, Washington February 15, 2009.[4]
