Dragon Age is an computer role-playing game (RPG) currently in development for the PC. It is being developed by BioWare, a well-known company responsible for games such as the Baldur's Gate series and Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. No publisher or release date has been announced as yet.

Unlike most of BioWare's previous games, Dragon Age will not be based on a pre-existing franchise, with the game mechanics and setting being developed by BioWare itself. Dragon Age will also use a new game engine. The game will have both single-player and multi-player modes, and will also feature a toolset similar to that of another BioWare game, Neverwinter Nights. BioWare describes Dragon Age as a "spiritual successor" to Baldur's Gate, Neverwinter Nights, and Knights of the Old Republic.

As yet, few specific details have been revealed regarding the game's setting or plot, although some more general is available. For example the setting will be 'medieval fantasy', and the plot will be epic- but not involve saving the world.
