Frank West (video game character)

Frank West is the Main Character in the 2006 video game, Dead Rising. He has appeared in many games, including Lost Planet 2. He is a photo journalist who game to the Willimette Parkview Mall to get info on the "odd goings on"(later to be revealed as zombies)and had three days before his Hellicopter arrived. He is voiced by T.J. Rotolo.

Frank in Dead Rising^{Superscript text} Frank West is the main protaganist in Dead Rising. He comes to the Willimette Mall looking for information on a Zombie Outbreak. He meets and befreinds three people, Otis, who is a janitor, Jessie, and Brad. They are members of Homeland Security. He tries to uncover the story of the Zombie outbreak, while many Psychopaths are trying to stop him, the main target being Carlito who caused the outbreak. Frank meets Carlito's sister, who helps him. Over the course of three days, Carlito starts a bomb, and Frank has to stop him. In the process though, Carlito pushes Brad into a large tunnel full of zombies. The zombies kill him, and he turns into a zombie. Later Carlito is killed by a Butcher, who Frank eventually kills. He and Carlito's sister hide in a safe room, while Jessie calls DHS. She learns that special forces will come at midnight. When they come, Jessie turns into a zombie, and Frank is forced to kill her. After Special Forces kill everything (including humans) and get ready to leave, Frank makes his way to the heliport. When he gets there though, the pilot gets attacked by a zombie, causing the Hellicopter to crash. Frank slumps to his knees in depression, not doing anything to stop the zombies from approaching. Frank is saved by Issibella, Carlito's sister. She says that Frank has been infected, and she needs to find supplies to get a cure. After Frank finds everything, including zombie queens, he sees an entrance into the ground, but it's full of zombies. Frank gets his cure, but it is only temporary. They get through the tunnels underground until they reach a tank. A man steps out and reveals himself as Brock, the leader of the cleanup operation. When Brock isn't looking Frank jumps on the tank and they engage into a fist fight. Frank eventually nocks Brock into a bunch of zombies, as they begin to eat him. Frank notices Issibella trying to escape agroup of zombies. The game ends as Frank turns and screams into air. After the credits, they say that Frank escaped, and America learned about the zombie outbreak. The last words of the game say, "and yet he complained that his belly was not full". This probably refers to Frank, saying two possible things--- Frank didn't have enough info, and he wanted to go back, or his antidote wore of and he turned into a zombie. (The first one being more likely, sinse they made a medicine that helps called "Zombrex".)
