Michael E. Szymanczyk (born 1949) is the current Chief executive officer|CEO] of [[Altria Group]. Mr. Szymanczyk was appointed Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Altria Group in March 2008. He served as Chairman, Philip Morris USA from April 2002 – August 2002. Prior to that appointment, he served as President and CEO of Philip Morris USA from November 1997 to April 2002. He was Chief Operating Officer of Philip Morris USA from July 1997 to November 1997. Michael first joined Philip Morris USA as Senior Vice President, Sales, in October 1990.
