== File source problem with File:Pamela contemporaryx.jpg ==
This is the third time I've been through this process with this image. This image has been released to the public domain, and this morning I've sent the third email to 'permissions-en@wikimedia.org', in which the copyright holder states that they are releasing it to the public domain. File:Ruslan Chick.jpg

The deal is the same as [[File:Ruslan Sirota.jpg]] – the picture is from Ruslan's Facebook page (please review relevant history). Do I have to request him to e-mail OTRS again? Hearfourmewesique (talk) 04:30, 13 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please reply ASAP, I need to sort this thing out before the file is deleted. Thank you. Hearfourmewesique (talk) 18:49, 15 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Once more, in order to avoid unnecessary WP:ANI drama, I am requesting politely: please reply and help me sort this thing out. Hearfourmewesique (talk) 23:22, 16 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Prince Ea performing at CTRL ALT DEFINE.jpg

Why didnt you unmark the deletion for the file Prince Ea performing at CTRL ALT DEFINE.jpg

I added the requested information, and notified you via a new section on this page. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 110.33.5.181 (talk) 15:33, 15 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

That's all well and nice, but the file is now deleted, even though I provided the requested information. You flagged the file, you fix it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 110.32.228.29 (talk) 17:05, 18 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding Plymouth Skyline.JPG

I am confused as to how the licencing thingy thing works. I own the image, took the image using my camera, therefore im assuming i own the copyright. I had much trouble trying to upload the image and i am not sure as to why i am being constantly asked for something to do with a copyright licence as i have made it clear when i uploaded the file that i created the file myself :( —Preceding unsigned comment added by Mikesp130 (talkcontribs) 20:42, 16 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, you uploaded it and you own the image. That's fine but you must assign a license to the image so other people may use it. Eeekster (talk) 16:53, 19 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for BRT Image

Hello, I have added a fair use rationale according to the request. Have I done this right? Thanks Nostalgic34 (talk) 16:18, 19 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Seeking Editor Monitoring of Birdman Records Page

Could you or one of your editorial colleagues please put Birdman Records on a continuing watchlist, with a view to blocking certain IP addresses. It appears that, since 2008 or so, the page has become a bit of a juvenile playground for people who want to put up false group names to see how long it takes before someone appreciates the vandalism. Since the label features a number of independent artists with unique names to begin with, this seems to provide an impetus for the juvenalia.

Many thanks in advance for any action that you or your editorial colleagues are able to take to preserve the integrity of the page.

Dreadarthur (talk) 17:08, 19 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

That would be something for you to do yourself. Eeekster (talk) 17:14, 19 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I don't have authority to block an IP address, however. What is the procedure to do this?

Dreadarthur (talk) 17:39, 19 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

See Wikipedia:Vandalism. Eeekster (talk) 17:45, 19 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Is there a decision forum in relation to non-account Wikipedia contributions?

Further to what has been happening to the Birdman Records page, I am wondering if it is time to eliminate the right to contribute to Wikipedia without having established a contributor account. I note that images can only be uploaded by account holders. As a screen against vandalism, I suggest that all contributions to Wikipedia must be by way of a formally established account. Could you please discuss with your editorial colleagues or forward to the appropriate forum; many thanks in advance.

Dreadarthur (talk) 17:39, 19 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

copyright source

It's in the image file description. Faceless Enemy (talk) 01:59, 20 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

It's the license that is missing, not the source. Eeekster (talk) 02:00, 20 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
License is whatever the normal logo license is. Faceless Enemy (talk) 02:05, 20 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Then put that on it. Eeekster (talk) 02:10, 20 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Possibly unfree File:DCR Logo.png

I do not see any discussion on the talk page about this.

Also, the logo is of a Massachusetts state department. Why would it not be public domain? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Ddbruce (talkcontribs) 13:25, 20 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

It's not public domain because it is owned by the state. Eeekster (talk) 22:16, 20 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Prince Ea performing at CTRL ALT DEFINE.jpg part. 2

Ignoring me doesn't resolve anything. Fix the file. Find it, re-upload it, whatever gets you off i don't really care. What i do care for though is half-assed moderating where you're more concerned with pointing your finger rather than resolving the situation. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 110.32.228.29 (talk) 14:49, 21 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

There's no problem to resolve. Eeekster (talk) 16:25, 21 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

For All We Know speedy nomination

I would like to point out that you rushed through your deletion. The band consists of two members of Sleeping with Sirens, who are both notable. Two notable members meet criterion 6 of WP:BAND, which states that "...an ensemble which contains two or more independently notable musicians, or is a musician who has been a member of two or more independently notable ensembles" is notable. Therefore, For All We Know meets this requirement. I have added the {{hangon}} tag for when you answer. Please respond. --ҚЯĀŽΨÇÉV13 17:49, 21 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Erection edit

I believe your reversion of my edit on the erection page is in err. Your reason for reverting was that I removed information from the page without properly citing a reason why. In fact, I had cited a reason, which was the incorrect or controversial nature of the information. The user who had written on the page cited "excessive masturbation" as a reason for erectile dysfunction and cited four sources. I reviewed the sources. Of them, only one made it apparent that there were doctors or medical professionals running the page. Overall, the sources dealt more with "Eastern medicine," religious guilt, and anecdotes about prostate rubbing than actual science. I'd appreciate if you'd reconsider my revisions as the controversial information may cause some to irrationally fear masturbation (and for impressionable teenagers, such as I, that is a TERRIBLE result!). Thank you for your time and consideration. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.84.230.177 (talk) 22:43, 21 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Oh really? I just looked at the history and there was absolutely nothing in the edit summary other than the section name text supplied by the edit button. Eeekster (talk) 22:45, 21 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Logo Upload

Sorry for the confusion with the logo file upload and thanks for showing me the page where I can test it out, I think that will help a lot :) Cheers! JenSmith27 —Preceding undated comment added 23:09, 21 July 2010 (UTC).[reply]

Orphaned Image

Hi Eeekster...thank you for your comment on my user talk page. My first article, Pritish Nandy Communications just went live yesterday. I created an Infobox because Wikipedia said that it was missing and I'm currently trying to upload the PNC logo into the Infobox. I have just finished uploading the jpeg logo onto Wikipedia so can you advise me on how I should go about inserting it into the Infobox? This will hopefully solve the issue of the image being an orphan image. Shishir58 (talk) 07:43, 22 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I just managed to upload the file in the article's infobox. Should no longer be an orphaned image. Do check when you have the time. Shishir58 (talk) 08:08, 22 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Re: File:Openmind Projects Logo.jpg Subject for speedy deletion.

I am crrently working for OpenmindProjects. I understand that from your end there is no proof and that the copyright needs to be looked at. I have filled in the non-free media use rationale. Please tell me if there is anything futher that needs to be corrected to keep this logo on the website. Thankyou for you time. Speedy Deletion of Apprenda

Hi Eekster. I recently created an the article Apprenda, which you marked for speedy deletion. I placed a hang-on after softening the article and providing more references regarding the important of the company in industry. Does this fit criteria better? I'd appreciate removing the speedy deletion request if all looks well. If not, any recommendation on how to improve my submission is much appreciated! —Preceding unsigned comment added by Esotericengineer (talkcontribs) 10:08, 22 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion declined: For All We Know (band)

Hello Eeekster, and thanks for patrolling new pages! I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of For All We Know (band), a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: per talk. You may wish to review the Criteria for Speedy Deletion before tagging further pages. Thank you. Theleftorium (talk) 12:25, 22 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I can't describe your image for you. Why are you unable to do so yourself? Eeekster (talk) 23:47, 22 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
