Club career

On February 22, 2010, the Kansas City Wizards won the rights to acquire Gil during a weighted lottery, which he allegedly snubbed a deal with Premier League side Arsenal to enter. He was later acquired by Real Salt Lake via trade for a future 2nd round draft pick.[1] Gil made his professional debut as a substitute against D.C. United in the 2010 US Open Cup.
International career
In 2009, Gil was a member of the United States U-17 national team for both the CONCACAF U-17 Championships and the FIFA U-17 World Cup.
