Josip Iličič (born January 29 1988 in Prijedor) is a football midfielder from Slovenia. His current club is Maribor.

Befoe he joined NK Maribor, he was also on 1 week trial at Moldova champions FC Sheriff Tiraspol.

Iličič scored twice in a UEFA Europa League match against Scottish Premier League club Hibernian in July 2010.[1]

International career

Iličič made his debut for the national side in friendly match against Australia on August 12, 2010. [2]

Personal

After a death of his father ( Josip was 1 year old ), he moved to Slovenia with his mother Ana and brother Igor.
