The linked SVG example has an error, I believe. "1.5" should instead read "0.5".

May 9, 2007. Discovered my article referenced here. The article of mine referred to is extracted from a Quick Basic program I developed back in the 90's to examine and compare the behavior of all the types of piecewise polynomial interpolation. It has over 30 types of basis matrix. It includes all the common types and some I developed myself. I also developed a relatively simple method of interpolating between two curve types. That is, an additional parameter is defined which when varied from a value of zero to 1, makes the curve go from the behavior of one type of interpolation smoothly to the other.
