Waves started as an Intra college festival in 2005. Featuring performances from some of the biggest names in the entertainment and showbiz industry, the list of past luminaries include DJ Suketu, Indian Ocean, Vidya Balan, KK, DJ Ivan, Parikrama, Sudarshan Patnaik, Rainbow Bridge, Tarla Dalal, Anu Hassan, Nikhil Chinapa etc.[4] [edit]Waves 2005 A modest beginning,Waves 2005 was an intra college(inter hostel) event of the institute. “Ride The Waves”-the theme for the event was the precursor to Zephyr, the annual inter hostel fest. [5] [edit]Waves 2006 ”Take the plunge”-the theme of Waves ’06 featured a sequence of cultural and literary events. The festival was now being organized at an all-Goa level.[6][7] [edit]Waves 2007 With the theme "Urban Chaos", Waves 2007 became the biggest cultural festival in Goa.[8]Performers included DJ Sasha from Bangalore, Bhayanak Maut (finalists of Channel V Launch Pad) from Mumbai, MotherJane from Cochin and the MTV Roadies.
