Kate or Katie Nauta (born April 29, 1982) is an American fashion model, actress and singer. She uses the name 'Katie' in her modeling work, and the name 'Kate' in her film work.

Biography

Early life

She grew up in Woodburn, Oregon, where she lived until 2000. Nauta is a common Frisian (Dutch) name.

Modeling career

Nauta started modeling at age 15. At 17 she was the U.S. winner of the Elite Model Look contest, and is now managed by Mode Models International.[1] She has modelled for Versace (Sport and Versus), L'Oréal, DKNY, and Abercrombie & Fitch Co. as well as doing advertisements for, among others, Motorola.[2]

Music career

Nauta also sings and writes lyrics. She has worked on her music with Lenny Kravitz.[3]

Acting career

Luc Besson cast Nauta as 'Lola' in Transporter 2 and also used two of her songs on its soundtrack. She stars also in the Web series Fear Clinic.[4]
