Saint Francis Foundation of Deva (Deva,_Romania)
The Saint Francis (Francis_of_Assisi) Foundation came into existence in 2002, supporting institutions for child protection, such as schools and nursery schools, principally maintained by the Transylvanian Franciscans (Franciscan).
Their purposes are
- To represent children’s interests, to promote their intellectual and social development and social protection;
- To promote and support them in keeping- tradition activities and upbringing;
- Through these movements the configuration and attendance of international affiliations;
- Familiarization of national cultural values on international level; arrangement of Hungarian and international camps, finance of the participation in these camps;
- The Foundation wants to bear a hand in the supply, enrolment in schools, choice of career, apprenticeship and creating and shaping workplaces of underprivileged children.
