Template:EP6 MEP image Marco Rizzo (born on 12 October 1959 in Torino) is an Italian politician and Member of the European Parliament for North-West with the Partito Comunista Italiano, Member of the Bureau of the European United Left - Nordic Green Left and is vice-chair of the European Parliament's Committee on the Internal Market and Consumer Protection.

He is a substitute for the Committee on Foreign Affairs and a vice-chair of the Delegation for relations with the countries of Central America.

  • 1998-2004: founder and coordinator of national secretariat of the Parliamentary Group of Italian Communists
  • 2001-2004: Chairman of the Parliamentary Group of Italian Communists
