2010 run for U.S. Congress

Fleischmann won the Republican primary. His first trial was against attorney John Wolfe, the Democratic nominee for the district. He said he won that case and the appeal "and now I want to defeat him a third time."[2] Tea Party supported independent candidate Savas Kyriakidis as Fleischmann doesn't appear to be enough of a fiscal conservative.[3] Fleischmann won the race with 57 percent of the votes to Wolfe's 28 percent and Kyriakidis' 11 percent.[4]
