Todd McLaurin Wade (born October 30, 1976 in Greenwood, Mississippi) is a retired American football offensive tackle. He was drafted by the Miami Dolphins in the second round of the 2000 NFL Draft. He played college football at Mississippi.

Wade has also played for the Houston Texans, Washington Redskins and Jacksonville Jaguars. Including the playoffs, Wade played in 102 NFL games.

Early years

Wade played high school football at Jackson (Miss.) Prep.

College career

Wade went on to be a four-year letterman and three-year starter at the University of Mississippi. He started 32 of the 44 games in which he played during his career, including starts in each of his final 32 collegiate games. He also opened all 11 contests at right tackle his senior season and was a first-team All-SEC choice and a second-team All-America selection.

Professional career

Miami Dolphins

He was drafted in the second round of the 2000 NFL Draft by the Miami Dolphins where he played four seasons with them, starting in 63 regular season games, as well as 3 playoff games.

Houston Texans

Wade signed as a free agent with the Houston Texans prior to the 2004 season where he started thirteen games that season. Wade started in nine games in the 2005 season before getting injured in Week 11.

Washington Redskins

Wade played for the Washington Redskins from 2006 to 2007.

Jacksonville Jaguars

Wade signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars on September 10, 2008 after guard Maurice Williams was placed on injured reserve. He was released on October 4 when the team promoted cornerback Isaiah Gardner to the active roster.
