-In the year 1932, Forrest Mars,rented a factory in Slough and with only twelve people working there manufacturing a chocolate bar with nougat and caramel that was covered in milk chocolate was quite diffecult,after his father's success the Milky Way bar which was already popular in USA he knew his choclate bar had to taste good so he tryed and eventually invented the choclate bar that we know it as the mars bar. Today the basic recipe has been changed a bit but the size of the bar and the proportions of the main components have changed quite a bit over the years.
