The Keneder Adler was the Yiddish Newspaper published in Montreal by Harry (Hirsch) Wolofsky.
Keneder Odler is the incorrect transliterated spelling and pronunciation of Keneder Adler (Canadian Eagle).
Wolofsky, his descendants and everyone who ever read the paper pronounced it Adler. North American phone books are filled with Adlers, the transliterated spelling of the Yiddish Surname. There are no Odlers.
This spelling discrepancy has arisen because of a mispronunciation on the part of Québécois ethnographic historians.
