Garurumon is a Champion Level Animal Digimon. He is a large, wolf-like beast with periwinkle fur(white on the underparts) and dark blue stripes. He has heightened strength and predatory instincts, enabling him to take out an enemy with speed and accuracy, making him highly feared by other Digimon. However, he is very intelligent and can become a reassuring companion.

Abilities
It is said the blade-like fur on his shoulders are as sharp and hard as mythril, enabling him to rip even through rock and charge at the enemy like a missile.
Attacks
- Howling Blaster: He shoots a stream of high temperature blue flame from his mouth.
- Wolf Cry: Garurumon howls upward, creating shockwaves.
- Slamming Attack: Garurumon tackles a foe into the ground then mauls them.
Important Events
First Season (Digimon Adventure)
Gabumon first digivolved to Garurumon to protect Matt from an irritated Seadramon. Since then, Garurumon has fought various enemies like Devimon and Etemon. When the gang had to deal with Digitamamon, Matt realizing how much a good friend Joe caused Garurumon to digivolve to WereGarurumon, who defeated Digitamamon.
Second Season (Digimon Adventure 02)
One year after their adventure, Matt and Gabumon were reunited, only to have Matt give up his Crest-power to free the Sovereigns. As a result, Gabumon lost the power to become WereGarurumon and MetalGarurumon. Two years later, when the Digimon Emperor was conquering the Digital World, Gabumon was among the old generation Digimon to help the new DigiDestined out, three times appearing to their aid as Garurumon.
