Blues & Soul is a British music magazine covering black music.[1] It was first published in 1966 and is famous for, amongst other things, having come up with the term Northern Soul.

Today the magazine still flourishes online, helmed by Editor Lee Tyler together with Assistant Editor (and popular long-time contributor) Pete Lewis. Meanwhile - in addition to its constantly-ongoing presence online - the magazine returned in printed form in August 2010 with a special vintage edition.

Further print editions are also planned for the future.

Interestingly, with literally thousands of his 'Blues & Soul' online interviews currently being referenced/featured in many different languages on various Wikipedia pages and official artist websites worldwide, internationally-speaking Pete Lewis has officially become one of the most widely-read and cited black music journalists of all time across the globe. Examples of some of his more recent cover/header features include - John Legend[2]; Kelly Rowland[3]; and [Maxwell]][4] Recent interviews conducted with classic acts include: Lionel Richie[5]; The Temptations[6]; and The Four Tops[7]. Meanwhile, interviews recently conducted with globally-successful UK artists include: Taio Cruz[8]; Jay Sean[9]; and Corinne Bailey Rae[10].
