Welcome!

Hello, Burnanator, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question and then place {{helpme}} after the question on your talk page. Again, welcome!

Please do not revert my edits again or you will be in violation of WP:3RR and subject to possible block by an uninvolved administrator. If you wish to discuss the edits, please do so on the talk page. —Eustress talk 23:29, 1 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Some of those edits were unjustified or unnecessary. Feel free to discuss the changes in the discussion page. Wikipedia is a collaborative system; are you God?Burnanator (talk) 23:37, 1 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
If you object, the onus is on you to explain why on the talk page while the edits in question remain on the page. We do this so other editors may chime in and consensus may be established. If you keep reverting, you will be blocked. —Eustress talk 23:44, 1 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Actually, many of these changes revert recent edits that were explained in detail in the edit history page. Thus, you should explain the reasoning for each change in the edit history (which was not done on every edit). If there is a dispute as to a section, the presumption is that the current version stands until a consensus is reached. Burnanator (talk) 23:51, 1 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

User talk page etiquette

Hello. I noticed you just removed my latest response to the discussion above (diff). Please be cautious in modifying others' comments (per WP:TPO) even on your own talk page, as this can distort the context. —Eustress talk 03:51, 2 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Per WP:TPO, "Personal talk page cleanup: On your own user talk page, you may archive [or delete] threads at your discretion," particularly in cases where other editors' comments may be construed as uncivil. Burnanator (talk) 05:27, 2 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

COI warning

Welcome to Wikipedia. If you are affiliated with some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article BYU Law Review, you may have a conflict of interest. In keeping with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, edits where there is a conflict of interest, or where such a conflict might reasonably be inferred, are strongly discouraged. If you have a conflict of interest, you should avoid or exercise great caution when:

  1. editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with;
  2. participating in deletion discussions about articles related to your organization or its competitors; and
  3. linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).

Please familiarize yourself with relevant policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.

For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. Thank you. —Eustress talk 15:55, 2 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

What basis do you have for this purported conflict of interest? Your incessant Wikihounding is a form of harassment, and making unfounded allegations of a conflict of interest aggravates the problem. If you persist in this harassment, you will be reported to the Wikipedia administration. Burnanator (talk) 17:25, 2 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
